SA’ID BIN AL-MUSAYYIB – Dinar Itu Untuk Menjaga Agamaku
Dari Yahya bin Sa’id rahimahullah, dia mengatakan: “Ketika Sa’id bin Al-Musayyib rahimahullah menghadapi sakaratul maut, dia meninggalkan sejumlah dinar, maka dia berucap:
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّى لَمْ أَتْرُكْهَا إلًا لِأَصُونَ بِهَا حَسَبِي وَدِينِي
‘Ya Allah, sesungguhnya Engkau tahu bahwa aku tidaklah meninggalkannya melainkan untuk memelihara kehormatan diri dan agamaku.'” (Ath-Thabaqat Ibn Sa’ad: 7/143)
Demikianlah cara pandang yang benar terhadap dunia. Harta yang kita cari hendaknya diniatkan serta dijadikan sebagai pemelihara kehormatan diri dan agama. Agar kita tidak menjadi peminta-minta di hadapan manusia. Bukan malah sebaliknya, agama dijual, harga diri diabaikan hanya karena harta kekayaan.
Sebagai seorang muslim, kita harus banyak belajar agar tidak salah memandang. Apalagi kita hidup di akhir zaman, dimana banyak manusia rela menjual dan mengorbankan agamanya hanya karena harta kekayaan sebagaimana sabda Rasulullah shallallahu alaihi wasallam:
بَادِرُوا بِالأَعْمَالِ فِتَنًا كَقِطَعِ اللَّيْلِ الْمُظْلِمِ يُصْبِحُ الرَّجُلُ مُؤْمِنًا وَيُمْسِى كَافِرًا أَوْ يُمْسِى مُؤْمِنًا وَيُصْبِحُ كَافِرًا يَبِيعُ دِينَهُ بِعَرَضٍ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا
“Bersegeralah beramal, (sebelum datang) fitnah yang laksana potongan malam yang gelap gulita. Seorang pada pagi harinya dalam keadaan beriman, sorenya menjadi kafir, atau sorenya dia beriman paginya telah menjadi kafir. Ia tega menjual agamanya dengan sesuatu (kepentingan) dari dunia.” (HR. Muslim: 118)
Oleh sebab itu, belajar dari Imam generasi tabi’in; Sa’id bin al-Musayyib rahimahullah, sekarang tanyakan pada nurani kita, untuk apa harta kita? Apakah untuk menjaga agama ataukah justru agama yang dikorbankan demi harta? Dan ingat dari sekarang pula bahwa Allah akan bertanya tentang semuanya padahal Allah Maha Mengetahui segala apa yang ada dalam hati kita, maka persiapankanlah alasannya.
